Established in 1993, IGLOOS began by building trailer mounted luxury travelling units to use as its own hire fleet, these are familiarly seen at weddings and private parties.  This was in response to there being very few "luxury" temporary toilets on the market at that time.

In 1998 there was another demand from the market: double and triple decker marquees had been introduced and loos were required on multiple levels rather than guests going downstairs and outside to the loo.  Once IGLOOS had constructed loos that worked on the triple decker of a marquee the request for internal loos for all marquees was more common.  IGLOOS designed and built a modular system that worked on a vacuum, the MODUVAC Vacuum Loo System.  This  soon became the preferred option for indoor corporate hospitality.  The firm has  earnt a strong reputation as the UK's leading independent supplier of sumptuous loos for the more discerning client.
